MOAB
There’s a specific kind of silence you only find in the desert. Moab was my attempt to put that vast, open space into a bottle. I wanted to create music that felt as big as a landscape but as personal as a quiet walk through the sand. It’s a meditative record, meant for those times when you just need to breathe and disappear into the horizon
I have built a very large analog modular synthesizer which I've used for the first time to its fullest in this album. It blends analog sound from the '70 with modern software based ones.
Red Logos is a homage to my biggest inspiration, the band Tangerine Dream and their 1982 live album Logos. My version stays authentic to the electronic sounds, but adds the large orchestration for the second part. I've created the video below with videos and images of Tangerine Dream through their career.
