SYNERGOS
I’ve always been a bit of a tinkerer. For Synergos, I spent weeks hunched over a soldering iron building my own Skylight MSS 2007 MIDI Sequencer. There’s a certain soul in those old MIDI equipment that you just can’t find anywhere else.
Professionally, it marked a shift from simply composing tracks to designing the very systems used to play them. Personally, this was a high-productivity era where I was obsessed with the concept of "studio as instrument.".
The music reflects this: it is a continuous 40 min track with multiple passages, more structured and deliberate than my previous ambient works, prioritizing the synergy between real-time performance and complex internal routing.
