MEMORIA TECHNICA

THE STORY

I find myself thinking a lot about where we’re headed as humans in a world full of algorithms. Memoria Technica isn't a lecture on technology; it’s me processing my own relationship with the digital world. It’s about the memories we store in our devices and the parts of ourselves we give away to them. It’s a bit darker and more reflective than my other work, but it’s a subject I couldn't stop thinking about

THE TRACKS

Memoria Technica opens the album with its dark sequences and screaming synthesizer leads. It transposes the listener to an alternative universe where the rules are unclear. The video clip below adds visuals to this dark track.

Posthuman continues the dark and heavy mood portraying a state of man-machine reality. It is greatly influenced by the movie Ex Machina, which inspired the them of this entire album.

Singularity presents the moment where technological growth accelerates beyond human control, producing unpredictable changes in human civilization.

Algo Rhythmus is the rhythm of the algorithm. The track builds upon the musical inspiration of the German band Kraftwerk, who had a big and lasting impact on my music. Those who love their album Computer Love, will surely get the reference.

Dystopia is my reaction to the movie Oblivion, one that I love for its novelty and how it made me feel.

Homeostasis draws inspiration from the original Bladerunner movie, which inspired me visually, while its seminal soundtrack by Vangelis was a constant reference for my work.

Collective is inspired by the Borg, a cybernetic organisms (cyborgs) linked in a hive mind called "The Collective". Here I explored the concept of shared conciseness and mind.

Mnemonic Encoder is a track that brings the listener back to its main, or original, reality.

Carbon Black provides an uplifting release out of the darker alternative reality of Memoria Technica and ends the album.
