DARK LIGHT
THE STORY
I've always loved the contrast between shadows and brightness. This album is about finding the light in the dark and recognizing the beauty in both. It’s a bit more atmospheric and moody, meant for those late-night sessions when you’re alone with your thoughts.
THE TRACKS
Dark focuses on shadows. Phased electric piano over an analog synthesized sequence that constantly evolves sets the tone of this track. An interlude connects to the second part making this almost 20 minutes continuous track.
Light takes the listener out to the open, which ethereal voices and a sense of space. Gamelan bells and metallic sounds sequenced below synthesized chords and melodies make the second part of this track.
Spectrum counts passing time. It is based on the concept of a metronome and was created for a ballet group's live show.
Twilight is a high energy track with strong rhythm section, pulsating sequences and a good layer of vocal sounds.
Lightray is a cosmic journey that takes the listeners along. It starts with chaos that transitions to a systematic motion, ever evolving and pulsating. The video clips visualizes this journey.
